Mississinewa Battlefield Society

The Mississinewa Battlefield Society is a 501(C) (3) Not-for-profit organization whose primary goal is to maintain the history and culture of our county and state directly relating to the Battle of Mississinewa fought in Grant County, IN in December of 1812.

Considering joining and getting involved?

Why Your Involvement Matters:
The success of our event relies heavily on the active participation of our dedicated members. By volunteering your time, you contribute to the overall vibrancy of our community and help create memorable experiences for everyone involved. Whether you have experience in event coordination, living history, or are eager to lend a helping hand, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.

How You Can Help:

1. Event Coordination: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our event coordination committees. Tasks include planning, logistics, and ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly.

2. Work Days: In the months and days leading up to the event, we need volunteers to assist with various tasks such as groundskeeping, set-up, and any last-minute preparations. Your energy and commitment will make a significant difference.

Benefits of Volunteering:

•Build meaningful connections within our Society and the community.
•Develop new skills and enhance existing ones.
•Contribute to the success of a memorable living history event.
•Make a positive impact on the local community.
